Coming soon:
We’re currently working on the design of a new website for an author. I shall keep up the suspense as to who and what its all about, but lets just say, hes THE master griller, someone whom I (as eating is my favorite pastime) greatly admire and he’s ready to show the world his talented fiction chops. Stay tuned as it develops and goes live in the near future. We’re so happy to be a part of it.

Still can hardly believe Ina Garten, the barefoot contessa, the definition of Wasp personified, is actually one of the chosen people. Is it wrong that I love her even more now?
Places to Eat
Simple title, and usually a list I keep on a post-it on my monitor. The list keeps growing and growing (plus the sticky back of the post-it is continually losing its stick, annoying). So thought, what they hey, and instead why not post it here.
If you’re looking for flashy SoBe style this isn’t the list for you. Great food preferably without pretense is what gets you on the list and keeps you there.
And yes, you can find restaurants in Miami without pretense. You just have to look a little, ok, a lot harder (which if you ask me, is all part of the fun). Honestly, its starting to feel like something is happening here. Bubbling up, trying to break out from the massive chain restaurants and soul-less sobe haunts are quirky cafes and entrepreneurial havens. Maybe its just the cheaper rents, but it feels like Miami is finally starting to realize some of its culinary potential.

Giadia de Lovely. My food angel. I love your kitchen. I love your flowing locks. I love your cleavage. And I loooove your Lemon Brodetto.
I made your lovely brodetto (along with a beautiful piece of salmon and pea puree) last week following your commands, and it was so delicious. I just wanted to say thank you for bringing this fresh simple broth into my life.
I wish i could keep her all to myself, like a jealous lover. But suppose I should share her with the rest y’all. Super easy and super tasty you can find the recipe here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/salmon-in-lemon-brodetto-with-pea-puree-recipe/index.html
